May 28, 2026"The food here is amazing!! This is a small restaurant that serves delicious Gujarati street food. Many items have a unique & delicious twist on the standard street food that is served elsewhere. The restaurant has about 6 tables for dining-in. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The food is prepared after you order, and is served very quickly nevertheless. The Aloo Puri is a wonderful twist (and improvement) on the usual Sev Puri. This dish is made using WARM, flat puris that are topped with some Ragda in additional to the usual toppings. I loved it!! The Butter Vada-Pav is also amazing! It is unique by the addition of fresh bhajia-boondi added on top of the Vada, which gives it a crispier texture. Also, the Pav is very soft and spread with a butter & chutney spread. It is now my Favourite Vada-Pav ever! The Sev Khamni is soo perfect! It’s one of my favourites here. The Rasavala Khaman is a very unique dish: it’s Khamni, and Chaat-style chopped onions, tomatoes, etc. served within a Daal (which is a mixture of a few Daals), and topped with Sev and Coriander. It is very tasty & satisfying. I highly recommend trying the unique dishes here. You won’t be disappointed!"

My husband is a huge Surati food lover, and this place made our long trip from Halifax absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!"

Apr 02, 2026"The food was very delicious. The chai was perfect. Samosa was a little undercooked. Surati Aloo Poori was tasty and a must try. But the bigger issue is them passing on the credit card surcharge on the customer. 2.45% on credit card purchases is a daylight robbery."
